Smoke / heat detector
The BTS transmitter in the smoke detector works with a built-in transmitter battery, the working life of this battery is about 15 years.
The smoke detector with integrated heat detector is operated with a replaceable 9V block lithium battery with a working time of approx. 5 years. These 9V block batteries are inexpensive available as an accessory in the online shop.
The smoke detector complies with the DIN standard EN 14604, which has been required by law since 1 August 2008. In addition, it has a radio transmitter and a temperature sensor. When an alarm is triggered, an internal loud alarm siren sounds. The range of the radio transmitter is about 150 meters in the open field.
When smoke or a heat development above 60 degrees Celsius, the alarm is triggered. The smoke detector offers a visual and acoustic battery monitoring function. You will receive a visual message on the alarm tab center as soon as the battery needs to be replaced.
